The southernmost entrance to European health systems

Hospital Punta de Europa belongs to the Servicio Andaluz de Salud SAS (Andalusian Public Health System). We commit ourselves to improving and maintaining an optimal health level, helping to ease the differences in respect to illness and mortality according to the principles that define the Health Policy of SAS. These include universal coverage, public financing, public and individual insurance, integrated care, as well as equality in access to and the distribution of health resources. We guarantee access to quality health services, meeting the expectations of the population within a framework of efficiency. The hospital provides specialised health assistance in the contexts of hospitalisation, emergencies, and outpatient services. These services are provided to the patients in our catchment area as well as to any patient who comes to us from outside that area or who has no public insurance coverage. This means that these patients are also given access to hospital attention.
